Cajun Spice

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion salt
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne
  • Directions

    1. Grind the first five large spices (basil, dill, oregano, thyme and red pepper flakes) into a powder (15-20 pulses).
    2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
    3. Store in air-tight container for up to 6 months.
